Christopher W. Wächtler
Postdoc at ICMM-CSIC, Madrid
Theoretical Quantum Physics with focus on driven dissipative many-body physics at the interface of condensed matter and AMO systems. I am currently a postdoc in the group of Gloria Platero (ICMM-CSIC, Madrid)
I have had the opportunity to delve into diverse subjects such as thermodynamics, quantum synchronization, and topology in both classical and quantum systems. My journey in this field has been enriched by a robust foundation in analytical skills and computational methods.
I am grateful for the various sources of support I have received over the years, particularly my current Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship (EU) and the previous Walter-Benjamin Fellowship (DFG).
Upcoming Workshop
Are you curious about how nonlinear dynamics phenomena like self-oscillations and synchronization are making their way into the quantum realm? Join us for the first workshop on quantum synchronization from June 30 to July 2, 2025, at the Max-Planck-Institut für Physik komplexer Systemein Dresden, Germany. Learn more and register here. We’d love to see you there—feel free to share this with anyone who might be interested!
